MADE IN GERMANY – NENA's studio album
„MADE IN GERMANY“ is NENA's 2009 studio album – 13 songs as diverse and unpredictable as life itself.
Modern, danceable and rock-driven, with electronic elements and powerful bass lines, the album combines energetic pop songs with heartfelt ballads. Tracks such as „SchöSchönSchön“, „Made in Germany“, „Geheimnis“, „In meinem Leben“ and „Du bist so gut für mich“ reveal many different sides of NENA.
On „MADE IN GERMANY“, NENA turns personal experiences, emotions and observations into direct and honest songs. The tracks are fast and slow, light and deep, joyful and reflective – sometimes sensual, sometimes powerful, and always close to real life.
For the album, NENA worked with producers and musicians including Derek von Krogh, Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen and Reinhold Heil. Reinhold Heil, who had already produced NENA's first three albums, returned to work with her on this project.
