NENA – DU BIST GUT (CD)
An album about new beginnings, freedom, love and life – full of energy, emotion and optimism.
With “Du bist gut”, NENA presents a multifaceted album combining modern pop with powerful emotions and personal stories. The 15 songs explore freedom, love, inner strength and the possibility of starting over again.
From energetic songs such as “Das ist nicht alles”, “Besser gehts nicht” and “Du bist gut” to emotional moments like “Lautlos”, “Im Reich meiner Mitte” and “Frieden”, the album showcases the full musical variety of NENA.
The songs were recorded in 2012 with NENA’s 13-piece band and her musical partner Derek von Krogh, largely in Iceland at the studio of Icelandic band Sigur Rós. The result is an album moving between new beginnings and reflection, energetic pop and personal moments.
